Children's Centre at North Cray Neighbourhood Centre
Children’s Centres bring together a range of services for children and families/carers, from early education and childcare to health and family support, making it easier for parents to access services and help more families benefit in the critical early years of their children’s lives.
North Cray's Children's Centre is situated within the North Cray Neighbourhood Centre and is run by Danson Trust. The Children’s Centre primarily provides activities for families with children under 5 years, however during school holiday's some after school activities can be accessed by children up to the age of 8 years.
The Child Health Clinic operates within the Centre on a Wednesday afternoon 1:30pm - 3:15pm where there is an opportunity to weigh your baby and talk to a health visitor. There is also a Breastfeeding Cafe for nursing mothers. Please note the Children Centre activities are Term Time only.
The Children's Centre provide a wide range of activities and support for families which include:
- Drop-in toddler groups - for various age groups
- Toddler Soccer - for 3 years and over
- Parent workshops
- Family support - For example; advice and support with parenting skills, learning courses, signposting to Jobcentre Plus for support in accessing training and employment.
